Ballet Inspired Holiday Outfits
My style is always changing. Most days when I'm at home with my son I love the simplicity of wearing a plain t-shirt and some shorts. However, when I do go out I like to 'dress up' a little more. I've always had a challenge trying to pinpoint 'my style' and now I just appreciate the fact that I lean towards certain style aesthetics. I love Parisian, bohemian, and rocker style so I have realized that I love the mix of ultra feminine details with an edge. Lately I've been inspired by ballerinas and I've decided that this year I would like to dress up in a ballet-inspired outfit with a beautiful jewel tone tulle skirt- either wine/maroon, emerald/forest green, or in plum/mauve. Below are some outfits that I really love and might try to emulate:
1- Sequins and Tulle
2- Maroon Tulle Satin Skirt
3- Bradshaw Tulle Midi Skirt- Burgundy
4- Maroon Tulle Skirt
5- Dark Purple Tulle Skirt
6- 2013 Fashion Week Street Style Not tulle, however, I love the color and drama this skirt adds
7- ASOS Full Midi Tulle Skirt
8- Vienna Green Tulle Midi Skirt
9- ASOS Tulle Prom Skirt
*Note: These are just fashion inspirations and I might do an updated post with actual links to tulle skirts I would like to purchase!

Manoa Falls Trail
We've been living on the beautiful island of Oahu for about a year now and one thing I told my husband I want to do more of is explore the island. Matt was born and raised here so it helps having his insight on where the good spots are to go. One common hike here is the Manoa Falls Trail. It's roughly a mile and a half long and leads up to a beautiful waterfall.
We went this past weekend and had a fun time! Although it was a short hike it was a bit of a challenge for me because I haven't gone hiking in awhile and I was carrying baby in front. Overall it was an adventure and I'm excited to share more that we go on:)
